Commenting, Simon Burns MP said:

“As a member of the Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) Group before I became a Health Minister, it was a great honour for me to attend their annual Parliamentary reception to speak about the work this important group does and to listen to a Patron of the group, Pixie Lott, sing some of her songs.

The charity CRY does a fantastic job raising awareness about young, sudden cardiac death and is to be commended for the fantastic work it does in screening young people and the support and counselling it provides to families who are sadly affected. It was a pleasure being able to address the reception and a pleasure to meet the talented Pixie Lott.” ENDS
